Looking at the different application areas in Fig. 10 and Fig. 11 we see ---somewhat surprisingly--- a decreasing share of industrial installations while the share of all other application areas is slightly increasing. Especially the number of installations at research labs was rising during the last two years. This reflects the installation policy of the industry which uses a certain type of system only after maturity and when enough s oftware is available. This is not yet true for the majority of the MPP systems.
