High Performance Computing in Europe

Abstract:

In this paper we discuss the situation in Europe in the field of high-performance computing, based on the latest TOP500 statistics (chapter ). We present the sublist of 133 supercomputers installed in Europe and discuss the number of systems installed with respect to the different manufacturers and the different countries.
