Quality Control
-
Users of the NHSE need to have confidence that the software
they obtain is high-quality and well-tested.
-
Quality control will be impossible to automate completely
because it requires human judgement and evaluation.
-
Tools and procedures need to be developed to facilitate the testing
and classification or labeling of software with respect to
its quality and reliability.
-
Research is needed to determine what
quality control information is most useful and can reasonably
be obtained, how to acquire this information, and in what
format it should be stored
for easy access.
