Condor: Job Dependencies

• Support large collections of jobs with interdependencies :

  • The collection is represented a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG)
  • Each job can have a pre and a post activity
  • The DAG manager is recoverable and manages execution failures.

• Interface Condor and Globus so that Globus can submit into Condor and Condor can use Globus resources.

• Develop a framework for Master-Worker optimization problems.
