NHSE Review Journal and Software Review Framework
-
NHSE Review electronic journal provides a way to
compare high performance software for a particular task or group of tasks,
to access this information in a single location, and to keep
the information current using a forum for ongoing user and developer
comments.
-
The NHSE Review articles include review criteria developed
by the author that are needed for making choices between software
packages.
-
The purpose of the NHSE Software Review Framework (SRF) is to provide a
systematic way for reviewers of high performance software to describe
their evaluation methods and results and for users to access this
information.
-
The NHSE expects that
discipline experts will refine the high-level framework by adding
additional discipline-oriented criteria, as well as descriptions of
specific evaluation properties, methods, and tools.
-
The framework will enable users to selectively
search this information for evaluation results related to particular
criteria or properties that are of concern.
