abstract

This is the second (alpha) release of CRAFT, a compiler-building
framework with sample Fortran 90 subset compilers for Thinking Machine's
Connection Machine Series. The release consists of two components: the
sample F90 compilers and the Classic graphical compiler interface.

The Classic tool provides an X interface for both using the compiler and
browsing the compiler specification source code. Classic allows the user to
interrogate the compiler, phase by phase, about the results of parsing,
program transformation, and code generation. Classic was designed using
only the standard X Athena Widget set, available in the standard X11
distribution.
