ALE3D - An Arbitrary Lagrange/Eulerian 3D Code System
- abstract
-
ALE3D is 3D Lagrangian/Eulerian hydrodynamics with material strength in
the kbar to mbar regime, developed to model the behavior of objects
undergoing gross deformation. This code employs arbitrarily connected
hexahedra with 8 nodes per element and no degenerate or tetrahedra
elements. Structural shell and beam elements have been included in the
code.
