- abstract
- ZPL is a machine-independent data parallel array based language that
is a sublanguage of the more general Orca C language. Both languages
are based upon the Phase Abstractions programming model and the
CTA abstract machine model. These models attempt to provide
portability by capturing the performance-critical features of MIMD
machines--and nothing more.
