PORTS - POrtable RunTime System

abstract

PORTS is a consortium of research universities, national laboratories,
and computer vendors interested in developing a common runtime
system to be used as a compiler target for various task and data parallel
languages. Specific goals of the group are
identifying opportunities for code sharing among projects,
focusing on task and data parallel languages, and
designing and implementing a common runtime system which
supports task and data parallel languages and interoperability.

The PORTS group maintains a mailing list for PORTS related
