http://www.cs.uoregon.edu/~hacks/research/daqv/overview/ Distributed Array Query and Visualization (DAQV) <abstract> The general problem of providing high-level semantic-based support for query and visualization of parallel distributed data structures is quite hard, if the data structures are allowed to be arbitrary. However, in HPF the only distributed data objects are arrays. Although the types of parallel array structures and their decompositions are potentially numerous and complex, a tool that leverages the HPF compiler and runtime system can provide the capabilities described above in a component form that can be applied in parallel debuggers, performance evaluation tools, and computational steering environments. The Distributed Array Query and Visualization (DAQV) project was started to address these needs [1].
