DDLIB - Data Distribution Library <author>Meemong Lee <version>
The ddlib is an automatic data distribution and redistribution tool for any MIMD architecture. The data distribution functions provide seven standard distribution types; broadcast, horizontal, grid, vertical, horizontal with overlap, grid with overlap, and vertical with overlap. The above functions are available for both no-host mode and host-node mode. In the no-host mode, the data is read from a file and written to a file in a local file system. The file I/O is performed by the nodes using a global synchronous read/write mechanism. <description><url>http://jane.jpl.nasa.gov/ddlib/ddlib.html</url> <reference><url></url> <contact>Meemong Lee <keywords>data distribution; MIMD machine; data parallelism; parallel library <category>ppt-pplib <publication-date> <environment>MIMD architecture <method> <application> <comments> </urc>
