In order to familiarize students with current performance benchmarking and modelling research, each student will be required to participate in the course project. The topic of the project will be selected by the instructor, and the assignment of tasks may be made on either a group or individual basis. Students will be asked to give a brief (oral) report during the last week of class to summarize their results or research. Individual or group written reports must be handed-in by the last day of class. It is hoped that the results of this project will be of sufficient quality for possible journal or conference presentation.
