Note that default lines (beginning with `*') aren't cumulative. New defaults are applied to the system defaults, not the current ones. For example, if the following two lines are entered in the order shown, only the ep default will be left changed.

* ep=pvm3/bin/$PVM_ARCH:/bin:/usr/bin
