Notes/Summary Of Tuning Parameters
Note: Storage Processors are referenced as SP0, SP1, SP2, SP3 and Network Processors as NP0, NP1, NP2, NP3, NP4.
All Load Generators used the same LADDIS Mount Points List with the same /etc/fstab entries.
The LADDIS Prime Client was the server Host Processor (no router was needed).
10baseT (twisted pair) hubs were used, one per subnet. Each Load Generator mounted filesystems
from four different Network Processors and four different Storage Processors.
The adb tool was used to enable checksumming on all Load Generators.
( adb -w /vmunix /dev/kmem ; udp_cksum?W1 ; udp_cksum/W1 )
The Auspex NetServer responds to checksummed requests with checksummed replies, by default.

Detailed Server Description
Network Subsystem
5 Network Procs.: Model NP-II, each w/ dual 55MHz HyperSPARC CPUs.
1 CPU does protocol processing, the other does filesystem processing.
Each NP-II has 4 SBus cards:
3 cards with 2 Ethernet connections each;
1 Network Accelerator co-processor.
256 MB onboard memory allocated as:
180 MB data cache
12 MB local memory for protocol processor & other misc
64 MB local memory for filesystem processor
