Rodney James (UC Denver)
6.2. xTPQRT: Communication-Avoiding QR sequential kernels
Rodney James (UC Denver)
6.3. BLAS test codes now using F90 machine epsilon, optimization now works
Rodney James (UC Denver)
BLAS test codes now using F90 machine epsilon, optimization now works
6.4. Fix Thread safety issue
Rodney James (UC Denver)
xLARFT routines modified so that V in now [in] only instead of [in/out], now thread safe
6.5. LAPACK test suite
.contributors
Rodney James (UC Denver)
.contribution
LAPACK test suite modified so that all tests will pass with gfortran (and ifort with -O0, and hopefully others)
6.6. LAPACKE - Standard C language APIs for LAPACK
Julie Langou (University of Tennessee)
Since LAPACK 3.3.0, LAPACK includes new C interfaces. With the LAPACK 3.4.0 release, LAPACKE is directly integrated within the LAPACK library and has been enriched with the new set of LAPACK subroutines. See here.
Headers and code have been cleaned up and some routines have been added.
6.7. CMAKE build system
CMAKE team
Julie Langou (University of Tennessee)
We are striving to help our users install our libraries seamlessly on their machines. The CMAKE team contributed to our effort to port LAPACK under the CMAKE build system. LAPACKE integration has been improved, and support for XLF compiler has been added. With this release, we are releasing for Windows all dlls: reference BLAS, LAPACK and LAPACKE Windows are now able to call LAPACKE directly form Visual Studio. (No Fortran involved!)
