Guys, Turned out to be even more complicated. I've submitted a bug to RedHat, bugzilla #50651. I'm gonna do the same at gnu right after I grab something to get my blood sugar above 0. Anyone interested, I created this: http://www.cs.utk.edu/~rwhaley/ATLAS/gcc30.html outlining the problem, and giving a small tarfile that can reproduce it. Cheers, Clint
