I have not yet had the time to retry with your fix of the M cleanup.  I had
been planning to hold off on the next developer release until I got the 
Windows stuff together for 3.2.1 stable release, and so I haven't been
spending much time with the new developer stuff.

I may need to rexamine this, though.  I now have Carl's parallel make, as well
as submissions from you and Peter for SSE2, so it's beginning to look like
time for a developer release.

If you get too impatient waiting on my dying ass, you can always build it
yourself, obviously . . .
